C-SC chapter of Alpha Chi National College Honor Society inducts 11 members
Eleven Culver-Stockton College students were inducted May 7 into the Missouri Beta chapter of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. The ceremony was held via Zoom, an online video conferencing app, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Faculty co-sponsors Dr. Scott Giltner, professor of history and chair of the Applied Liberal Arts and Sciences Division, and Dr. Alissa Burger, assistant professor of English and director of retention, welcomed the new members into the society. Giltner delivered this year's charge to the inductees, family and friends.

Billingsley, Lord receive top Residence Life awards
Jordan Billingsley, a sophomore elementary education major from St. Louis, was named the Resident Assistant of the Year and Jenna Lord, a senior healthcare management major from Lee's Summit, Mo., was inducted into the C-SC Resident Assistant Hall of Fame during a virtual presentation recently organized by the Office of Student Life at Culver-Stockton College.

Hutcherson, Simon, Dodd, Luciani win top Greek life awards
Awards for the Greek Life Student of the Year and the Greek Lifetime Achievement Award for both men and women were given during a virtual presentation recently organized by the Office of Student Life at Culver-Stockton College. The Greek Woman of the Year was Taryn Hutcherson (Sigma Sigma Sigma), a junior elementary education and early childhood major from Moline, Ill. The Greek Man of the Year was Michael Simon (Alpha Phi Alpha), a senior criminal justice major from St. Louis. The Greek Lifetime Achievement Awards were given to Natalie Dodd (Chi Omega), a senior psychology and occupational therapy major from Palmyra, Mo., and Nick Luciani (Lambda Chi Alpha), a senior sports communication major from Georgetown, Ontario in Canada.

Local student part of musical comedy to be performed at local high schools, Mabee Theatre
An eclectic group of six pre-teens vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime as the Culver-Stockton College theatre department will be presenting "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at three regional high schools in March and in the Mabee Little Theatre in the Robert W. Brown Performance Arts Center on the C-SC campus in April.

'The Vagina Monologues' to be performed four times in February
Culver-Stockton College will be presenting "The Vagina Monologues" in the Mabee Little Theater in the lower level of the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center in February. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 13, 14 and 15, with a 3 p.m. matinee set for Feb. 16.
