Omicron Delta Kappa Celebrates New Members
Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, welcomed 320 new initiates from 15 universities during May 2022. Students initiated into the Society must be sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate/professional students in the top 35% of their class, demonstrate leadership experience in at least one of the five pillars, and embrace the ODK ideals. Fewer than five percent of students on a campus are invited to join each year.

Benjamin S. Morrow Receives ODK Scholarship to Attend Washington University in St. Louis, Olin School of Business
Benjamin S. Morrow, a native of Sullivan, Mo., received a $1,000 scholarship from Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) to attend graduate school at Washington University in St. Louis, Olin School of Business. Morrow is a recent graduate of Westminster College. He graduated summa cum laude from the honors program with dual bachelor's degrees in accounting and mathematics. Morrow was active on campus and participated in a variety of organizations. He was president of Phi Delta Theta for two years, served as president of the Oath and Values Board, and as Grand Marshal of the Skulls of Seven. Morrow was also a freshman transition mentor for three years and a student ambassador for two. In addition, he served on various campus committees, including the Blue Blazers Investment Committee, the hiring committee for new business professors at Westminster, and on a task force with board members to brainstorm potential leadership opportunities to bring to campus. Morrow is an initiate of Alpha Lambda Delta, Delta Mu Delta, and Pi Mu Epsilon honor societies along with being a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. Morrow is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Finance with a concentration in quantitative finance from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. His goal is to become a casualty actuary.

Culver-Stockton confers diplomas to 215 graduates
The Board of Trustees at Culver-Stockton College voted on May 16 to confer the degrees for 215 graduates in the Class of 2020. The 164th annual formal commencement ceremony, which was postponed because of the COVID-19 virus, is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25.

Hutcherson, Simon, Dodd, Luciani win top Greek life awards
Awards for the Greek Life Student of the Year and the Greek Lifetime Achievement Award for both men and women were given during a virtual presentation recently organized by the Office of Student Life at Culver-Stockton College. The Greek Woman of the Year was Taryn Hutcherson (Sigma Sigma Sigma), a junior elementary education and early childhood major from Moline, Ill. The Greek Man of the Year was Michael Simon (Alpha Phi Alpha), a senior criminal justice major from St. Louis. The Greek Lifetime Achievement Awards were given to Natalie Dodd (Chi Omega), a senior psychology and occupational therapy major from Palmyra, Mo., and Nick Luciani (Lambda Chi Alpha), a senior sports communication major from Georgetown, Ontario in Canada.
