Culver-Stockton College's mock trial teams attended a competition at Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. Christine Schlegl finished the competition with the top score (19 out of 20 points) in a field of over 80 "attorneys."

Culver-Stockton's chapter of Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) placed in the top four of the country in the 2013 Student Case Study Competition sponsored by IMA. To place in the top four, the team beat out hundreds of submissions in an anonymous video contest. Once the C-SC group placed in the top four, they competed in a final round by presenting their submission live at IMA's Annual Conference and Exposition in New Orleans, June 22-26.
