Niki House was recognized with the award of "Physical Education Major of the Year" from the Missouri Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (MOAHPERD). House was nominated by her professors at Culver-Stockton for her outstanding performance in the physical education department. House attended the banquet where she received her award, which was held at The Lodge of The Four Seasons, in Lake Ozark, Mo.

Christopher Swingle, senior business and finance major from Blue Springs, Mo., has been awarded a fellowship from Sigma Beta Delta. Sigma Beta Delta is the international honor society for business, management and administration.

Eighteen students from Dr. Patrick Hotle's "Twentieth Century Europe" class joined seven students from Dr. Scott Giltner's "Historian's Craft" class for a day trip to the Chicago Art Institute.

Five Culver-Stockton students were selected as the first recipients of C-SC's Konneker Leadership Grants.

Several C-SC students had the opportunity to gain real world experience through working at the 78th Annual Buffalo Funds - NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Tournament in Kansas City, March 18-22.

Brooke Bushnell, junior accountancy major from Queen City, Mo., has been awarded the IMA Memorial Education Fund Scholarship, worth $2500.

Culver-Stockton College is proud to announce its President's List, Dean's List and Honor Roll for the spring 2013 semester. To be named to an honors list, students must meet high academic standards established by Culver-Stockton.

The Culver-Stockton student chapter of Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) won the prestigious 2013 IMA Clark Johnson Achievement Award (CJAA). Only one winner in the country is selected each year, and the award is accompanied by a $5000 cash prize. This is the second time C-SC has been recognized with this award; Culver-Stockton's student chapter of IMA also won this award in 2007. Dozens of students were awarded for overall academic achievement, outstanding performance within their major, academic competition and scholar-athlete rankings. Many of the awards have been established by or in memory of Culver-Stockton alumni/ae. "This long-standing tradition of the college not only unites the student body as they honor their classmates and friends for achievements in the 2011 - 2012 academic year, but also represents the culmination of a year of hard work. I can think of no finer way to end another academic year on aEUR~the Hill' than to pay tribute to members of our student body," commented C-SC President Richard Valentine.
