2015 Feb 13

Tara Bradley, senior from Lincoln Community High School in Broadwell, Ill., has competed in Culver-Stockton College's 31st Annual Pillars for Excellence scholarship competition. To compete to be a Pillars for Excellence scholar, a student must have at least a 26 ACT or 1170 SAT score and have a 3.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale or rank in the top 10 percent of their graduating class. Competitors must also come to campus and complete two interviews with faculty and staff and submit an essay on a given writing prompt, as well as a 60 second video.

Nearly 40 students competed for this full-tuition scholarship. Winners will be announced Feb. 16, 2015.
