Mason DeMott attends international mediation conference

As a member of the Culver-Stockton Mediation Team, Mason DeMott, 2014 Criminal Justice from Flint, Mich., attended the International Academy of Dispute Resolution Society's Fifth Annual Mediation World Congress at the Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, Oct. 18-19, 2013. The conference focused on several academic issues concerning the field of mediation, and hosted several discussions, including "Learning the Psychology of Effective Mediation" and "The Future of Arbitration." The team's advisor, Judy Abbott, accompanied the students to the conference.
