Krzywonos Named Student Athlete of the Month

Culver-Stockton College junior Joey Krzywonos has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for November.

Krzywonos, of Westland, MI. (Detroit Central Catholic HS) is a three-year letterwinner on the men's bowling team. Through five events this season, Krzywonos is ranked 98th individually with a 203.033 average. He has one top five finish, two top 10 finishes and two top 25 finishes this season. During his sophomore season, Krzywonos averaged a team-leading 184.250 in eight events. He recorded two top 25 finishes during the season.

Outside the bowling alley, Krzywonos is pursuing a degree in biological chemistry. Among his activities, he is Vice-President of Tau Kappa Epsilon social fraternity, a year-round Wildcat Welcome coordinator, secretary of the campus programming council, and coordinator of intramural sports. He has been inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma freshman honor society and the Tri Beta Biological honor society, and he is a member of the Alpha Pi Science Club.

Krzywonos is the third Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for the 2017-18 school year. Junior women's volleyball player Anna Stock was honored in September and senior football player Matt Kelly was honored in October.
