Jonie Kirchner inducted into Culver-Stockton College's Alpha Chi National College Honor Society

Culver-Stockton College is proud to announce the induction of Jonie Kirchner into the Missouri Beta chapter of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. The induction ceremony was held Wednesday, April 18 in Johnson Hall Parlor on the Culver-Stockton College campus.

Kirchner is a senior elementary education major from Kahoka, Mo.. Kirchner was one of 13 new inductees to the Alpha Chi National Honor Society.

Faculty co-sponsor Scott Giltner and Division of Humanities and Social Sciences Chair Patrick Hotle welcomed the new members into the society. Mr. Rod Walton, associate professor of history at Culver-Stockton College, delivered this year's charge to initiates, family and friends. Alpha Chi honors those juniors and seniors in the top ten percent of their class.

Founded in 1922, Alpha Chi has more than 300 chapters nationally and works toward the goal of "Making Scholarship Effective for Good".
