Joanna Holmin competes in Undergraduate Mock Trial Invitational Tournament

Joanna Holmin, sophomore legal studies major from Chatham, Mo., competed on Culver-Stockton College's Mock Trial Team against several large universities at the Undergraduate Mock Trial Invitational Tournament in Columbia, Mo., Jan. 16-17, 2015.

The tournament was held at University of Missouri, hosted by Columbia College.

Roughly 20 teams competed in the tournament. C-SC's Plaintiff and Defense Teams competed against teams from the University of Missouri, Missouri Southern State and Truman State. The Defense Team also went head-to-head against a "Bye-Buster" team comprised of students from Kansas University, University of Missouri and Truman State University.

The next competition for the Mock Trial Team is Feb. 21-22, 2015, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
