Jennifer Peterman welcomed as a new member to the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society

Jennifer Peterman from Plymouth, Ill. (62367) was one of eight students inducted into the Alpha-Eta-Lambda chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society at Culver-Stockton College. The induction ceremony took place Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Johann Memory Library on campus. History faculty members, Patrick Hotle and Scott Giltner, and the chapter President and Vice President welcomed the new members.

Phi Alpha Theta was founded in 1921 to "promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians." It honors history majors and minors with a 3.1 GPA in history and a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
