Jason Epley to Perfom In Culver-Stockton College's Theatre Production

Jason Epley, sophomore theatre major from Quincy, Ill., will be performing in Culver-Stockton College's fall theatre production, Barefoot in the Park. Epley's role in Neil Simon's romantic comedy is Paul Bratter.

Barefoot in the Park is a lighthearted look at the real tension newlyweds face when passionate spontaneity meets tedious responsibility. A dysfunctional walk-up apartment becomes the catalyst for a young couple's post-honeymoon anxiety with hilarious results as they learn that life is a compromise and true love needs its moments of running barefoot in the park.

Cast members include: Kirsten Sindelar, senior musical theatre major from Sherrard, Ill., as Corie Bratter; William Jackson, freshman music major from New London, Mo., as Telephone repair man; Benjamin D.Z. Brown, sophomore English and theatre major from Lincoln, Neb., as Delivery man; Jason Epley, sophomore theatre major from Quincy, Ill, as Paul Bratter; Kristen Houston, a freshman musical theatre major from Quincy, Ill., as Mrs. Banks; and Nick Johnson, a senior theatre major from Fieldon, Ill., as Victor Velasco.

This production is directed by S. Kent Miller, fine arts chairman and professor of theatre. Kathy Holstein, junior arts management major, is the assistant director and William Cooper, junior arts management major from Sikeston, Mo., is the assistant stage manager. Performances will be on the Culver-Stockton campus in the Mabee Black Box Theatre, Oct. 18 - 20 at 7:30 with a Sunday matinee Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. Admission is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for students from other schools, and free to Culver-Stockton students.
