Dominic Caruso Named to Academic All-District Team

Culver-Stockton College men's soccer player Dominic Caruso (St. Louis / Affton HS) 63123 was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 team Thursday. Caruso has appeared in all 17 games for the Wildcats this season, making 14 starts. He has a team-leading 12 goals to go along with two assists for a team-high 26 points. In addition, Caruso has a team-high four game-winning goals. His 12 goals have come on 20 shots on goal.

Off the field, Caruso is pursuing a degree in athletic training. He has been named to the honors list at Culver-Stockton each semester and last season was named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete. In September, Caruso was named the Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month by the Culver-Stockton Athletic Department.

Caruso and the rest of the Wildcat soccer team will conclude the regular season this Saturday, Oct. 31, at home against Grand View (Iowa). Game time is at 3 p.m. at NX Level Field. The Wildcats are currently 8-8-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
