Danielle Nicholson inducted into the International Honor Society for psychology

2017 Mar 8

Danielle Nicholson, a psychology from St. Anne, Ill. (60964), was among seventeen students inducted into Culver-Stockton's chapter Psi Chi, the International Honor Society for psychology. A ceremony was held on campus February 23, 2017 to formally induct and recognize the members.

Psi Chi was founded in 1929 for the purpose of encouraging, stimulating and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate scholars who make the study of psychology one of their major interests. To qualify for induction, students must be in the top 35 percent of their class and have at least a 3.0 GPA in psychology courses. Over 500,000 individuals belong to the society, and this was Culver-Stockton College's twenty-first year inducting students into Chapter 881.
