Culver-Stockton's Logan Holmer Earns HAAC Weekly Honor

Culver-Stockton College high jumper Logan Holmer has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Snowbird Open Jan. 25 at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill.

Holmer, a junior from Chillicothe, Mo. (Tina-Avalon HS), won the high jump competition by breaking his own school record with a leap of 2.02 meters (6 feet, 7 1/2 inches). The previous mark was 1.92 meters (6 feet, 3 1/2 inches). The height also eclipsed the NAIA "B" qualifying standard and will make Holmer eligible for the NAIA Indoor Championships in March

The Wildcats are scheduled to participate in the Principia College Relays this Friday, Jan. 31, in Elsah, Ill.
