2017 Oct 9

Culver-Stockton College student Kimberly Clark, who is a senior business, finance and political science major from Canton, MO, was elected as the national president of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), the collegiate chapter of the largest career student organization in the world. As the national president of the organization, some of her main responsibilities consist of overseeing strategic and administrative tasks that affect the structure of the organization and traveling to regional high schools to promote membership. Clark's term began June 27, 2017, at the National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Anaheim and will last one year.

"What an honor it is for the C-SC PBL chapter to have Kimberly elected as president," Eric Larson, Lecturer in Business and Chapter Advisor of PBL, stated. "This is a testament to her dedication and hard work to both PBL and the Culver-Stockton community."

As a high-school student, Clark was a part of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the high school chapter of FBLA-PBL, during all four years. After graduating from high school, she joined PBL and has since held several high-level positions in the organization, such as the North Central Region Vice President, National Secretary and two-time Missouri Vice President.

Past leaders of the organization have also had their roots at C-SC. George "Jr" Calton `01, a business administration major was the most recent member from Missouri to hold the same position of PBL National President.
