Chevie Wiseman inducted into international honor society

2013 Dec 6

Chevie Wiseman, junior psychology and occupational therapy major from Monticello, Mo., was among nine students inducted into Culver-Stockton's chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society for psychology. A ceremony was held on campus Dec. 5 to formally induct and recognized the members.

Psi Chi was founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate scholars who make the study of psychology one of their major interests. To qualify for induction, students must be in the top 35 percent of their class and have at least a 3.0 GPA in psychology courses. Over 500,000 individuals belong to the society, and this was Culver-Stockton College's 18th year inducting students into Chapter 881.
