C-SC student Ciara Johnson completes professional internship

Ciara Johnson, junior individualized major from La Grange, Mo., recently completed an internship with Gardner Denver in Quincy, Ill. During the internship, Johnson spent her time gaining hands-on experience in finance with a multi-national operation, analyzing finance data and examining financial patterns.

Culver-Stockton College offers two types of internships to students: professional and exploratory. Professional internships focus on students gaining skills in a field of study they have already chosen, while exploratory internships focus on students learning more about an industry to be better able to choose their area of study.
