C-SC student Chevie Wiseman completes professional internship

Chevie Wiseman, junior psychology and occupational therapy major from Monticello, Mo., recently completed an internship with Advance Physical Therapy in Quincy, Ill. During the internship, Wiseman spent her time experiencing multiple occupational therapy settings, learning techniques for rehabilitation therapy and participating in wheelchair clinics.

Culver-Stockton College offers two types of internships to students: professional and exploratory. Professional internships focus on students gaining skills in a field of study they have already chosen, while exploratory internships focus on students learning more about an industry to be better able to choose their area of study. Wiseman's internship was Professional.
