Brittney McMahon Named Heart Offensive Player of the Week

Culver-Stockton College forward Brittney McMahon has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for her play in two victories last week by the Wildcats.

McMahon, a senior from St. Louis, Mo. 63125 (Hancock Place HS), registered two goals and two assists as the Wildcats defeated Waldorf College (Iowa) and Evangel University (Mo.) last week. McMahon scored a goal in each game, including the game-winning goal in the 3-1 victory over Waldorf. She also had an assist in each game.

For the season, McMahon leads the Wildcats in scoring with six goals and five assists for 17 total points. She has three game-winning goals this season, which ranks third in the Heart. McMahon has taken a team-high 53 shots, including 26 shots on goal.

In her career, McMahon has netted 30 goals and added 11 assists for a career total of 71 points. She has taken 205 shots overall, including 111 on goal, and has nine career game-winning goals.

The Wildcats, currently 8-3-1 overall and 3-2 in the Heart, are scheduled to play this Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo. Game time is set for 5 p.m. at Davis Field.
