Begeman Named December's Student Athlete of the Month

Culver-Stockton College forward Breanne Begeman has been named the Primo's Pizza and Subs Student Athlete of the Month for December.

Begeman, a senior from Mendon, Ill. (Unity HS), is a four-year letterwinner on the women's basketball team. She has played in 62 career games to date, making 28 career starts. Her career statistics include averaging 4.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. She has scored 255 career points and grabbed 192 career rebounds.

Off the court, Begeman is pursuing a degree in Psychology. She has been named to the President's List (4.0 GPA) in each of her seven completed semesters on the Hill. In addition, Begeman is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor Society and the Alpha Chi National Honor Society. As a sophomore, she was named the winner of the Sophomore Scholarship for Women.

Begeman is the fourth Primo's Student-Athlete of the Month for the 2016-17 school year, joining Kira McGrotty, who was named in September; Alejandro Mentasti, who was honored in October; and Dana Kramer, who was named in November.
