Anne Showalter inducted into National History Honor Society

Anne Showalter was among five students inducted into the Alpha-Eta-Lambda chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society. The ceremony took place Tuesday Oct. 29, 2013 in the Riverview Room of Johann Memorial Library on the campus of Culver-Stockton College. Faculty sponsors Dr. D'Ann Campbell, Dr. Patrick Hotle, Dr. Scott Giltner, along with students, parents and friends, welcomed the five new members into the society. Phi Alpha Theta exists "to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians" and honors history majors and minors with a 3.1 GPA in history and a 3.0 cumulative GPA overall.
