Anne Showalter Inducted into Culver-Stockton Chapter of Alpha Chi National Honor Society

Culver-Stockton College is proud to announce the induction of 13 students into the Missouri Beta chapter of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. Among admitted students was Anne Showalter, senior biological chemistry major from Springfield, Ill.

Alpha Chi is a society that honors juniors and seniors in the top 10 percent of their class. The ceremony was held Thursday, May 2 in Johnson Hall Parlor on the Culver-Stockton College campus.Faculty co-sponsors Dr. Scott Giltner and Dr. Lauren Schellenberger welcomed the new members into the society. Dr. Daniel Silber, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College, delivered this year's charge to initiates, family and friends.

Alpha Chi is for students in any discipline. Founded in 1922, Alpha Chi has over 300 chapters nationally and works toward the goal of "Making Scholarship Effective for Good."
