Allison Barratt cast in C-SC's production of "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress"

Allison Barratt, senior arts management major from McHenry, Ill., was cast in Culver-Stockton's theatrical production of "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress." This selection is a fun and humorous look at women's friendships in modern society. Throwing off seriousness entirely, this production is an irreverent comedy that follows five Southern bridesmaids who are doing everything possible to avoid a wedding reception. Bad decisions and sharp comments reveal secrets; yet friendships bloom even as bouquets droop. Alan Ball, who is also the creator of "Six Feet Under" and "True Blood", is the writer of this play.

Barratt has the role of Frances. Dr. Ron Zank, assistant professor of theatre, directs this production.

The show runs at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday, March 26 to Saturday, March 29, 2015 in Mabee Black Box Theatre on the lower level of the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center, with a matinee at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30.
