Abigail Frings elected to leadership role in the Christian Church

Abigail Frings, sophomore political science major from Champaign, Ill., is attending the General Board of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Indianapolis, Ind., Feb. 8-11, 2014, as an elected four-year term board member.

Abbi was elected to the General Board last July in Orlando, Fla., at the General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples). She was the only youth (age 16-18) to have this honor. The General Board conducts the business of the Church, which includes reports of Disciple institutions of higher education like Culver-Stockton College.
