Abbie Foster Named Heart Libero of the Week

Culver-Stockton College senior Abbie Foster has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Libero of the Week for her play in four matches last week, including two victories over conference teams.

Foster, a senior from Quincy, IL. (Quincy HS) 62305, averaged five digs per set during the week which saw the Wildcats go 2-2. Foster averaged 5.2 digs in Heart sweeps over Benedictine (Kan.) and Baker (Kan.). She also had a team-high 91 service reception attempts, committing three errors for a 96.7 percent success rate, and she had just one service error on 54 attempts, for a service percentage of 98.1 percent.

The Wildcat volleyball team is currently 8-15 overall and are 5-4 in league play after running off a four-match winning streak against conference opponents. C-SC is scheduled to host Graceland (Iowa) this Thursday, Oct. 29, at Charles Field House. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
