Hayley Handyside graduates with academic distinction

Hayley Handyside, of Keokuk, Iowa, graduated with academic distinction during Culver-Stockton College's 159th Commencement Ceremony, held on campus Saturday, May 16. Handyside graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion & philosophy magna cum laude.

Academic distinctions are awarded based on cumulative grade point average, with a minimum of 60 credit hours earned at Culver-Stockton. Summa cum laude requires a minimum GPA of 3.85. Magna cum laude requires a minimum GPA of 3.75. Cum laude requires a minimum GPA of 3.5.
